Personal Concern for Injury Survivors
and Their Caregivers
"I would like to thank you for all
the hard work and dedication you have displayed in representing my son for
the past few years. The effort you put into this case is proof of a
true professional and also a man with great integrity. I really
believe you had the best interest at all times for my son."
Letter
from client, March 19, 2007 (quoted here with client's approval).

David Goldin graduated from Stanford Law and Stanford Business
Schools as the first student to complete the then new law (JD) and
business
(MBA) combined degree program at Stanford. He started his legal career in San Diego in criminal law successfully handling jury trials for those who could not afford an attorney in serious felony cases
such as rape, robbery and murder, obtaining "not guilty" jury verdicts in
these and other cases on behalf of his indigent clients. In the
mid-1970's Mr. Goldin's
law practice changed to civil cases. In the 1980's, along with an active business litigation practice, he became interested in brain injury cases. In the 1990's he found those suffering "mild" traumatic brain injuries often did not receive
fair compensation in our courts and decided to
concentrate on helping survivors of brain injury and their families.
Since that time Mr. Goldin has successfully obtained
numerous six and seven figure money recoveries for his
injury clients.
Mr. Goldin now focuses his law practice on serious brain and spinal cord (central nervous system) injury. His goal is to offer legal services that make a difference
by providing attention and resources for the successful treatment and rehabilitation of
injury survivors and their families. Mr.
Goldin believes the key to successful legal representation is personal concern for his clients and their caregivers.

"Seriously Outstanding--The Top 5
Percent"
In 2007
and 2008 David Goldin is chosen one of the top lawyers in San Diego
in the field of "Personal Injury Plaintiff: General" by Southern
California Super Lawyers - San Diego.

Breaking the Silence
on Brain Injury
What do Steve Young, Troy Aikman, Stan Humphries, Eric Lindros, Pat LaFontain, Dale Ernhardt, Jr., Chris Irwin, George Clooney,
and probably 20% or more of our troops returning from Iraq and
Afghanistan, have in common? This is an increasingly important question; please take a moment to think about it before reading on.

David Goldin has enjoyed residing and working in San Diego since graduating from law school.
He and his wife, Constance (Connie) Cote’ Goldin, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, were married in 1980 and have lived in the
Sunset Cliffs area of San Diego since 1985. When they started their family, Connie became a full time homemaker, mother and community volunteer. They have two
sons in their 20s.
Connie
assists David at his office in several capacities. When David's cases
are going to trial, Connie is actively involved in many stages of
preparation and support, including focus group presentations, witness
management and real time trial feedback. She is largely fluent in
Spanish and can help with communication and translation as needed.
David has
been actively involved in various community projects, including the
San Diego Brain Injury
Foundation, to assist brain injury survivors and their families, and the
Sunset
Cliffs Natural Park Recreation Council, to protect the natural cliffs from ongoing erosion. He and Connie have supported many youth organizations and have given their time and assistance to such organizations as Youth Tennis San Diego and Coronado School of Arts.
Most recently, they are trying to help the troops returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan who have suffered traumatic brain injuries.
In
September, 2007, David and Connie and members of the Board of the San Diego Brain Injury Foundation meet with Congressman Bob Filner, Representative of the 51st District, and Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs,
to discuss how best to assist our returning brain injured troops.
